What is Movie Minds?

Established originally in 2009, Movie Minds is a place for serious fans of film. Our motto states, “Always thinking about movies,” and that is exactly what we do. Of course, we’re not Variety or The Hollywood Reporter. Movie Minds will present our views on all things film and Hollywood (minus the trashy celeb gossip ((unless it’s particularly good))). We’ll do it in an fun, irreverent way, through a mix of writing, humour, video and, once in a while, dwarf tossing. What does dwarf tossing have to do with movies? You’ll just have to wait and see.

Who are the minds behinds Movie Minds?

Chief writer and critic Patrick was born nigh 30 years ago on the plains of Saskatchewan. Tired of watching his dog run away for three days, Patrick turned to watching movies to pass the time until Spot returned. A journalist by trade, Patrick has been a critical fan of film since taking a college course when he was 17. His favourite movie is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Corey is the site admin of several blogs and social networks including Movieminds.net. When he isn’t DJing, writing music, or working on various web projects, he spends his time “studying” movies and television from around the world.  He enjoys actions movies, comedies and half of the Tarantino movies.
